HI, I'M TARA

I AM A CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER, PRE AND POSTNATAL FITNESS SPECIALIST, WOMEN'S FITNESS COACH, COPY EDITOR AND COPY WRITER, AND A MOM OF FOUR WILD AND SWEET KIDS

 

I WAS ONCE THAT KID THAT DIDN'T LISTEN AND ALWAYS HAD HER OWN IDEAS. I GREW UP TO BE A LIFE-LONG RULE-BREAKER, CREATING THE LIFE I WANT (MY WAY.)

WHY ARE POSTPARTUM FOLKS BEING TOLD TO FOLLOW RULES (THAT AREN'T ACTUALLY HELPING THEM) AND BEING COACHED LIKE THEY DIDN'T JUST HAVE A BABY?

 

WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THE FITNESS AND NUTRITION ABSOLUTES WHEN EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE AND NUANCED?

 

WHY ARE FOLKS BEING GIVEN PROGRAMS THEY CAN’T ACTUALLY (OR DON'T WANT TO) FOLLOW?

PROVIDING EDUCATION AND HELPING MY CLIENTS BEND PRE/POSTNATAL RULES WITH TOOLS AND STRATEGIES 

AND ENCOURAGING WOMEN TO IGNORE SOCIETY’S OPPRESSIVE BODY STANDARDS, UNATTAINABLE EXPECTATIONS OF FITNESS, MOTHERHOOD, AND LIFE, AND SYSTEMIC PROBLEMATIC FRAMEWORKS

SO THAT THEY CAN SMASH THROUGH BARRIERS 

AND START FEELING

CAPABLE, STRONG, AND EMPOWERED IN THEIR BODY.

BECAUSE ISN'T THAT THE FIRST STEP

TO CREATING THE LIFE YOU REALLY  WANT TO BE LIVING?

I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THE CHANGE I HAVE EXPERIENCED. ONE YEAR AGO MY MISCARRIAGE LEFT MY BODY SORE, TIRED, AND WEAK. MY MENTAL HEALTH WAS EXHAUSTED, MY BACK WAS CONSTANTLY SORE, AND MY PROLAPSE SYMPTOMS WERE SO BAD THAT I COULDN’T STAND TO COMPLETE A TASK SUCH A WASHING THE DISHES OR HOLD MY KIDS WHILE IN A STANDING POSITION FOR LONGER THAN 2 MINUTES. 

 

TARA WAS WITH ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. SHE CREATED A WORK OUT PROGRAM PERSONALIZED TO MY NEEDS AND SYMPTOMS. SHE HELP ME TRANSFORM MY ALL OR NOTHING MINDSET TO A LIFE GIVING PRACTICE. SHE GAVE ME GRACE AND TAUGHT ME HOW TO BE PATIENT WITH MYSELF. 

 

AT THE END OF THE 6 MONTHS, I COULDN’T BELIEVE HOW STRONG I WAS. MY SYMPTOMS WERE AT A PLACE WHERE I COULD MANAGE THEM AND I WAS RUNNING AGAIN. I FELT CONFIDENT AND HAD THE TOOLS I NEEDED TO CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN MY BODY.

 

I FEEL THE BEST I HAVE IN YEARS AND I KNOW THAT I’LL ALWAYS LOOK BACK ON THE TOOLS YOU GAVE ME THAT CHANGED THE QUALITY OF MY LIFE.
