SINCE JOINING TARA ABEL FITNESS, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET MY POSTPARTUM BODY BACK INTO SHAPE. I AM STRONGER, HEALTHIER AND SMALLER THEN WHEN I GOT MARRIED. 

 

AFTER MY SECOND BABY I HAD GONE UP TO A SIZE 12/14 HAD TONS OF PAIN, FELT SUPER DOWN ALL THE TIME AND AND FELL INTO A SLUMP OF HAVING 2 SMALL KIDS. THE MORE I BODY SHAMED MYSELF, THE MORE I ATE, AND DIDN'T CARE WHAT I WAS PUTTING INTO MY BODY. I WANTED TO LOSE THE WEIGHT BUT FIGURED IT WAS ALL-OR-NOTHING AND I WASN'T READY TO GIVE UP MY OLD LIFE STYLE.

 

ONE DAY I DECIDED I NEEDED A CHANGE. I WAS TIRED OF THE WHAT IFS AND INSTEAD STARTED SAYING I CAN AND I WILL WHEN IT CAME TO A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE... MY LEGS, KNEES AND BACK HURT ALL THE TIME AND I WAS HAVING ISSUES CARRYING MY KIDS. I KNEW I NEEDED TO FOCUS ON MY STRENGTH AND INSTEAD OF LOSING WEIGHT...I DECIDED TO START NOT WORRY ABOUT HOW MANY POUNDS I LOST BUT DECIDED I WANTED TO TONE, STRENGTHEN AND JUST FEEL LIKE I COULD DO DAILY TASKS. 

 

DAILY STRUGGLES LIKE WEAK CORE AND BACK PAIN, DUE TO CHILDBIRTH AND DIASTASIS RECTI, AREN'T MY DAILY STRUGGLE ANYMORE. I ALSO SUFFERED FROM MUSCLE PAIN DUE TO A KNEE INJURY, WHICH IS NO LONGER IS AN ISSUE. I CAN FINALLY DO DAILY TASKS LIKE LIFTING, CLEANING, AND PLAYING WITH MY KIDS WITHOUT PAIN OR BEING PURE EXHAUSTED. I AM MOTIVATED AND EXCITED AND ABLE TO JUST ENJOY MY LITTLE FAMILY. I AM HAPPY AND FEEL COMPLETE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A VERY LONG TIME.

TARA HAS BEEN SUPER ENCOURAGING AND HAS MADE MY JOURNEY BACK TO FITNESS REWARDING AND FUN. A HEALTHIER AND PAIN-FREE LIFESTYLE IS ACHIEVABLE WITH THE RIGHT SUPPORT.

 

THE SUPPORT FROM OTHER WONDERFUL INSPIRING LADIES IN THE GROUP HELPS TO GIVE YOU THAT EXTRA PUSH WHEN YOU NEED IT. THE BEST PART IS THEY ARE ONLY 20 MINUTE WORKOUTS. THEY ARE EFFECTIVE AND SO DO-ABLE AND MY FAVOURITE PART IS THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ALL-OR-NOTHING. I ONLY AVERAGE ABOUT 3 WORKOUTS A WEEK...

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE THAT I HAVE EVER SUCCEEDED AT EXERCISING AND STRENGTH TRAINING CONSISTENTLY FOR MULTIPLE MONTHS NOW.

I BELIEVE WHAT REALLY MADE THE DIFFERENCE WAS WORKING WITH TARA WHO TRULY INSPIRED ME WITH HER APPROACH TO FITNESS.

 

I WAS GOING TO TAKE A ‘BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTO’ AS I STARTED WORKING WITH TARA, BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY TARA’S COACHING THAT MADE ME REALIZE I DIDN’T WANT THIS TO BE A ‘BEFORE AND AFTER’ BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO COMPLETE A “60 DAY CHALLENGE” OR “FOUR WEEKS TO FIT” I JUST WANTED TO INCORPORATE EXERCISE AND GROWING STRONGER INTO MY NEW NORMAL. MAYBE I COULD TAKE  ‘BEFORE AND PROGRESS SHOT’, BUT I DON’T WANT THERE TO BE AN ‘AFTER’. THIS FRAME OF MIND WHEN IT COMES TO FITNESS HAS MADE THE DIFFERENCE FOR ME IN BEING CONSISTENT BECAUSE I HAVEN’T FAILED IF I MISSED A WORKOUT, LIFE JUST HAPPENED AND I WOULD START AGAIN TOMORROW. TARA EMBODIES THIS VIEW OF FITNESS AND IT HAS CHANGED MY VIEW ON WORKING OUT AND ALSO ACTUALLY MADE IT ATTAINABLE AND SOMETHING I CAN AND CONTINUE TO DO.

 

THIS PROGRAM WAS DIFFERENT FOR ME BECAUSE OF TARA AND WHO SHE IS AND THE CONFIDENCE AND STRENGTH SHE SEES AND ILLUMINATES IN OTHER WOMEN. SHE KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS WOMEN’S BEAUTIFUL CAPACITY TO ACHIEVE THINGS MANY OF US THOUGHT WERE NOT POSSIBLE.

 

TARA EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTENTION TO SPECIFIC NEEDS AND INJURIES WAS SO HELPFUL. WHEN I HAD A PROBLEM SHE ADDRESSED IT PROMPTLY AND DIRECTLY AND ALWAYS ENCOURAGED ME TO MAKE THE CHANGES I NEEDED TO DO TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEM BUT NOT GIVE UP ON MY GOALS. SHE IS SO POSITIVE AND ALSO SO REALISTIC, WHICH MAKES HER PROGRAM WORK.

I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE RESTORE PROGRAM AND TARA'S COACHING. AFTER ONLY TWO MONTHS I CAN ALREADY FEEL AN IMPROVEMENT IN MY DIASTASIS RECOVERY AND ENERGY LEVELS. SOMETIMES LIFE WILL THROW YOU CURVE BALLS, BUT A LOT OF THE TIME, THOSE CURVE BALLS ARE TEMPORARY. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS NOT TO GIVE UP; TRY TO INCORPORATE EXERCISE AND HEALTHY EATING WHEN YOU CAN. TARA WAS EXTREMELY SUPPORTIVE AND WAS ALWAYS THERE WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS OR NEEDED WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT. AS A HUMAN BEING, TARA IS SUPPORTIVE, ENCOURAGING, THOUGHTFUL AND GENUINELY CARES ABOUT HER SEEING FRIENDS AND FAMILY SUCCEED IN LIFE. TARA HAS BEEN QUICK TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAVE HAD ABOUT FORM AND HAS MADE SPECIFIC MODIFICATIONS I NEEDED AFTER RECOVERING FROM A FRACTURED KNEE. BEFORE I JOINED TRANSFORM I WAS STARTING TO GET LOTS OF REALLY BAD BACK / NECK / ARM / HIP PAINS FROM WORK. IT HURT TO LAY DOWN FLAT ON MY BACK AND I COULDN’T GRIP THINGS WELL (LIKE OPENING JARS OR HOLDING ANY KIND OF WEIGHT) BECAUSE OF MY WRISTS. I ALSO HAD A WRIST JOINT OUT OF PLACE FROM REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS AT WORK. I JOINED TRANSFORM TO STRENGTHEN THE MUSCLES AROUND MY WEAKER JOINTS AND BUILD A STRONGER CORE TO HELP WITH THE FACT THAT EVERYTHING ALWAYS HURT. LIFTING WEIGHTS WAS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED TO ME SO TRANSFORM SOUNDED LIKE A GREAT OPTION FOR ME.

 

TRANSFORM HAS BEEN REALLY GOOD FOR ME BECAUSE I CAN WORK IT AROUND MY LIFE. I REALLY LIKE THAT I CAN GO THROUGH THE WEEK AND ADJUST WHAT WORKOUT I WANT FOR WHICH DAY AND THAT TARA IS ALWAYS TIMELY WITH RESPONSES TO ANY QUESTIONS. I AM NOT GOOD AT PLANNING WORKOUTS SO HAVING THEM ALL ORGANIZED FOR ME IS GREAT.

 

SINCE JOINING TRANSFORM I HAVE HAD A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT WITH MY BACK AND WRISTS. MY JOINTS ARE BACK TO SITTING WHERE THEY SHOULD AND DON’T POP OUT OF PLACE NEARLY AS EASILY.

 

MY ADVICE TO ANYONE THINKING OF JOINING WOULD BE TO JUST START. IT’S SO MUCH EASIER THAN IT SEEMS. IT’S SUCH A FRIENDLY POSITIVE GROUP IT MAKES THE EXPERIENCE EVEN BETTER.

TARA’S ONLINE POSTPARTUM TRAINING SHOWED ME EXERCISES I CAN DO TO IMPROVE MY DIASTASES, EVEN THOUGH I’M PREGNANT. THE SESSIONS ARE SIMPLE AND FAST — AND THE FORMAT HAS HELPED ME STAY ON TRACK.

 

TARA’S TRAINING HELPED ME FEEL LESS ANXIOUS ABOUT MY DIASTASES BECAUSE IT GAVE ME THE ABILITY TO IMPROVE MY CORE IN THE TIME I HAVE RIGHT NOW. HER PROGRAM ALSO GAVE ME ACCESS TO AN ONLINE GROUP OF LIKE-MINDED WOMAN WHO SHARE THEIR INSIGHTS AND HELP TO KEEP ME ON TRACK WITH MY PROGRESS.
