Once upon a time...
BEFORE I BECAME A PERSONAL TRAINER AND PRE & POSTNATAL FITNESS SPECIALIST, I WAS A STAY-AT-HOME MOM OF TWO LITTLES WHO COULDN’T RUN, DO A PUSH-UP, PLAY SOCCER WITH MY FAMILY, HAD DIFFICULTY LIFTING HEAVY THINGS, AND COULDN'T GO UP THE STAIRS WITHOUT GETTING OUT OF BREATH.
AS SOMEONE WHO USED TO BE VERY ATHLETIC BEFORE I BECAME A MOM, I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE MYSELF IN THE MIRROR OR IN MY LIFE.
I FELT TRAPPED AND HELD BACK BY MY BODY.
I KNEW TAKING BACK CHARGE OF MY HEALTH AND FITNESS WAS THE ANSWER BUT DOING THAT WAS BEYOND OVERWHELMING.
I HAD TO WADE THROUGH INFORMATION - A LOT OF IT PRETTY TERRIBLE - TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WOULD WORK BEST FOR MY POSTPARTUM BODY (ESPECIALLY WHILE RESPECTING MY RETURN TO FITNESS WITH MY NEWLY MANAGED DIASTASIS RECTI AND PELVIC FLOOR SYMPTOMS.) EVERYTHING SEEMED TO REQUIRE WAY MORE TIME THAN WHAT I HAD OR WAS JUST ANOTHER FAD DIET OR QUICK-FIX PROGRAM.
I HARDLY HAD TIME TO SQUEEZE IN A WORKOUT, LET ALONE TRYING TO FIGURE THIS ALL OUT.
IT WAS BEYOND FRUSTRATING AND DISCOURAGING.
i created transform to be everything i wished i'd had then.

Since joining Tara Abel Fitness, I have been able to get my postpartum body back into shape. I am stronger, healthier and smaller then when I got married.
After my second baby I had gone up to a size 12/14 had tons of pain, felt super down all the time and and fell into a slump of having 2 small kids. The more I body shamed myself, the more I ate, and didn't care what I was putting into my body. I wanted to lose the weight but figured it was all-or-nothing and I wasn't ready to give up my old life style.
One day I decided I needed a change. I was tired of the what ifs and instead started saying I can and I will when it came to a healthier lifestyle... My legs, knees and back hurt all the time and I was having issues carrying my kids. I knew I needed to focus on my strength and instead of losing weight...I decided to start not worry about how many pounds I lost but decided I wanted to tone, strengthen and just feel like I could do daily tasks.
Daily struggles like weak core and back pain, due to childbirth and diastasis recti, aren't my daily struggle anymore. I also suffered from muscle pain due to a knee injury, which is no longer is an issue. I can finally do daily tasks like lifting, cleaning, and playing with my kids without pain or being pure exhausted. I am motivated and excited and able to just enjoy my little family. I am happy and feel complete for the first time in a very long time.
Tara has been super encouraging and has made my journey back to fitness rewarding and fun. A healthier and pain-free lifestyle is achievable with the right support.
The support from other wonderful inspiring ladies in the group helps to give you that extra push when you need it. The best part is they are only 20 minute workouts. They are effective and so do-able and my favourite part is that it doesn't have to be all-or-nothing. I only average about 3 workouts a week...

I may not post in here a lot, and I may not comment on each workout day, but Tara I just want you to know I truly appreciate everything you do for us, and how committed you are to supporting us, and helping us along on this journey, and filming and editing every video in the schedule, I know how hard it is to run a business while Momming, and I just want you to know how appreciated your efforts are.
Your workouts are awesome, and have given me a new motivation to get healthier.
I don't do every workout, I sometimes only get one done in a week, but as you say, something is always better than nothing. And I just want to share how true that is.
The picture in the peach top was taken on day one of the Capiche 14 day challenge on Jan 14th. The dark outfit was taken March 28th. The changes are noticeable now, and I'm feeling so much better, so THANK YOU!!

WHAT IF I GET BUSY AND CAN'T STAY ON SCHEDULE?
NO PROBLEM! I MAKE THE SCHEDULE FOR GUIDANCE BUT EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO JUST DO THE BEST THE CAN WITH THE TIME THEY HAVE. EVERYTHING CAN BE INDIVIDUALIZED TO FIT IN TO YOUR LIFE. WHETHER YOU'RE STARTING WITH ONE WORKOUT A WEEK OR SEVERAL, WE ALL MAKE PROGRESS AT OUR OWN PACE.
