Since joining Tara Abel Fitness, I have been able to get my postpartum body back into shape. I am stronger, healthier and smaller then when I got married.
After my second baby I had gone up to a size 12/14 had tons of pain, felt super down all the time and and fell into a slump of having 2 small kids. The more I body shamed myself, the more I ate, and didn't care what I was putting into my body. I wanted to lose the weight but figured it was all-or-nothing and I wasn't ready to give up my old life style.
One day I decided I needed a change. I was tired of the what ifs and instead started saying I can and I will when it came to a healthier lifestyle... My legs, knees and back hurt all the time and I was having issues carrying my kids. I knew I needed to focus on my strength and instead of losing weight...I decided to start not worry about how many pounds I lost but decided I wanted to tone, strengthen and just feel like I could do daily tasks.
Daily struggles like weak core and back pain, due to childbirth and diastasis recti, aren't my daily struggle anymore. I also suffered from muscle pain due to a knee injury, which is no longer is an issue. I can finally do daily tasks like lifting, cleaning, and playing with my kids without pain or being pure exhausted. I am motivated and excited and able to just enjoy my little family. I am happy and feel complete for the first time in a very long time.
Tara has been super encouraging and has made my journey back to fitness rewarding and fun. A healthier and pain-free lifestyle is achievable with the right support.
The support from other wonderful inspiring ladies in the group helps to give you that extra push when you need it. The best part is they are only 20 minute workouts. They are effective and so do-able and my favourite part is that it doesn't have to be all-or-nothing. I only average about 3 workouts a week...

I may not post in here a lot, and I may not comment on each workout day, but Tara I just want you to know I truly appreciate everything you do for us, and how committed you are to supporting us, and helping us along on this journey, and filming and editing every video in the schedule, I know how hard it is to run a business while Momming, and I just want you to know how appreciated your efforts are.
Your workouts are awesome, and have given me a new motivation to get healthier.
I don't do every workout, I sometimes only get one done in a week, but as you say, something is always better than nothing. And I just want to share how true that is.
The picture in the peach top was taken on day one of the Capiche 14 day challenge on Jan 14th. The dark outfit was taken March 28th. The changes are noticeable now, and I'm feeling so much better, so THANK YOU!!

NOPE! YOU CAN PERFORM ALL THE WORKOUTS FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME OR WHEREVER YOU WOULD LIKE.
IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I EXERCISED. WILL I BE ABLE TO DO THIS PROGRAM?
DEFINITELY! THERE ARE MODIFICATIONS FOR EVERYONE IN EVERY STAGE AND I AM THERE TO SUPPORT YOU IN THE PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP.
IS TRANSFORM SAFE FOR MAMAS WHO ARE PREGNANT, ARE DEALING WITH DIASTASIS, PROLAPSE, AND OR OTHER CORE AND PELVIC FLOOR SYMPTOMS?
YES! WHILE THERE ARE TECHNICALLY NO EXERCISES THAT ARE "ALWAYS SAFE" OR "ALWAYS UNSAFE," YOU WILL RECEIVE PROGRAMMING THAT IS APPROPRIATE WHEN ADDRESSING THESE ISSUES AND MEANT TO SUPPORT HEALING. YOU WILL BE TAUGHT HOW TO MONITOR YOUR BODY TO BE SURE IT IS RESPONDING WELL OR SAFELY TO EACH EXERCISE.
WILL TRANSFORM HEAL MY DIASTASIS RECTI OR PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTION?
THIS IS A TRICKY QUESTION BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT TO REALISTICALLY MANAGE EXPECTATIONS. HEALING DIASTASIS RECTI AND PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTION LOOKS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE! YOUR BODY HAS UNDERGONE A GREAT MANY CHANGES. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO "BOUNCE BACK" TO THE BODY WE HAD BEFORE BABIES AND, ONCE WE ARE POSTPARTUM, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE CONSIDERATIONS AND A NEW LEVEL OF AWARENESS IN REGARDS TO OUR CORE AND PELVIC FLOOR.
HOWEVER, IT IS DEFINITELY POSSIBLE TO GO BACK TO AND EXCEL AT THE ACTIVITIES WE LOVED PRIOR TO PREGNANCY AND TO REGAIN OUR STRENGTH AND FUNCTION. WHILE TRANSFORM IS NOT SPECIFICALLY MEANT TO HEAL CORE AND PELVIC FLOOR ISSUES, THE STRATEGIES AND COACHING IN TRANSFORM ARE MEANT TO AID THIS PROCESS. IF MORE SUPPORT IS NEEDED, THERE ARE OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO YOU.

WHAT IF I GET BUSY AND CAN'T STAY ON SCHEDULE?
NO PROBLEM! I MAKE THE SCHEDULE FOR GUIDANCE BUT EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO JUST DO THE BEST THE CAN WITH THE TIME THEY HAVE. EVERYTHING CAN BE INDIVIDUALIZED TO FIT IN TO YOUR LIFE. WHETHER YOU'RE STARTING WITH ONE WORKOUT A WEEK OR SEVERAL, WE ALL MAKE PROGRESS AT OUR OWN PACE.
